January. Dark nights - in the northern hemisphere at least. Cold days - in bewteen the warm ones which are confusing the birds, the bees, the plants and lately, the people. The perfect time to issue weighty reports. 
I am grateful to Accenture for its Technology Vision 2012 - especially the section on PAAS. Though at a mere 52 pages they could have tried harder. 

Grateful also to the451 Group for its Research Preview, 100 pages - that's more like it.
And when I'm feeling the Winter blues I can always return to The Global Risks Report from the World Economic Forum. It's great bedtime reading. I read it to the kids.
