Johnston Actuarial Services Limited is an independent consultancy firm providing actuarial and pensions advice, primarily to corporate clients who require advice on all aspects of occupational schemes.
We specialise in defined benefit schemes (eg final salary schemes and average salary schemes), group money purchase schemes and small self-administered schemes.
We also advise individuals re personal pensions and other financial matters such as pension on divorce settlements, financial losses on transfers, life interests and reversions, etc.
Johnston Pension Trustees Limited is our sister company, a pension trustee company providing pension trustee services, primarily to small self-administered schemes.
As at February 2008 we had been appointed professional advisers to 85 corporate clients, who are based primarily in London and the North West of England.
We pride ourselves in being able to communicate technical matters in a non-technical manner.
