Telehouse has launched a range of cloud computing solutions that will reside in the data centers of Telehouse and KDDI – Telehouse’ parent company.
The services – all part of a portfolio called Telecloud - will cover cloud infrastructure, managed private cloud, public virtual data center, storage and disaster recovery and Software-as-a-Service solutions.
KDDI and Telehouse Europe managing director Tokuji Mitsui said the cloud services will have a strong focus on physical infrastructure, and marks the next phase of evolution for Telehouse.
“The data center is at the heart of a cloud solution, making the physical infrastructure the integral role in maintaining the reliability and accessibility of a company’s application,” Mitsui said.
KDDI head of system integration Nick Layzell said the solution will help customers that see reliability, security and latency as key components of their cloud.
